Okay so, I found Eveille through her Magic Knight Rayearth cosplay and was super excited to follow her on social media. Her work is amazing and I was stunned by all she did. When she announced she had open commission slots in 2019, I decided that it was time to get a dream cosplay done, and that I wanted it to be done by her.

Now, the whole process was super easy. I filled out her google form and provided references. She sent me back an itemized spreadsheet containing the quote -- discussing what materials she recommended, how much each was estimated to cost, her hourly rate, all that. It was so clear and understandable! When the original estimate came in a little over my purposed budget, she was super patient and worked with me to find alternatives to get back to it. I felt absolutely no pressure when trying to bring the cost down, and she was super helpful in aiding me to do so! She even worked in my discomfort with "specialty" fabrics and basically made the entire thing out of cotton blends, at my request.

I was able to pay for this commission all up front (minus shipping, which was agreed to be paid at the end of the commission). That said, she was also super up front that payment plans were an option (and I utilized this for my next commission).

During the construction process, she sent me frequent updates and pictures about how the outfit was progressing. She held frequent livestreams of the build and would answer any questions I had about it.

And the outfit? It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever owned. Not kidding. Worth every penny and more. She sent care instructions on how to keep it looking good and crisp for future days. It was packed incredibly well and fit perfectly. She even lined the inside of the corset with Pokemon fabric that makes me smile every time I see it.

I put in another commission request less than a month after getting DnDeevee because I just was blown away by everything. I'm super excited for this next commission and to be working with Eveille again. I can honestly say I hope I can keep working with her as long as she will have me as a client.
