SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER

When I build Sylvanas I had never done a costume like it before. Lots of armor, ridiculous back pieces and it was such an ambitious project. I made the mistake of using worbla for the armor on this costume and the cloak is real leather. Due to materials used this costume is outrageously heavy weighing in over 60lbs. I could only wear it for short periods of time and she has been officially retired. The costume was worn as a participant in the Twitchcon 2017 costume contest as it was selected for the top five in Larger than Life! It was then taken to Blizzcon 2017 and you can see me on stage in it for the costume contest that year. It would eventually win a Best in Show at Baltimore Comic Con in 2018 after I had finally perfected all the issues with it. The last hurrah for this costume was at a private photoshoot in 2019 in a beautiful local park where Alex got these amazing photos!
